As Chief Executive Officer & Director of PAC Partners, Ryan leads the firm across all of its activities, setting its strategy and direction and bringing focus and consistency to how PAC serves its clients, growth companies, investors and partners. Ryan has more than 20 years of leadership across capital markets, wealth, funds management, funds administration, fintech, and trustee services.
Ryan was most recently CEO of Trustees Executors in New Zealand and has held Chief Operating Officer and senior executive roles at Equity Trustees (ASX: EQT) and Austock Group (now Generation Development Group, ASX: GDG). He has led businesses through growth, change, and major transactions, including the $150m ANZ Trustees acquisition and integration at Equity Trustees, and has worked closely with boards, leadership teams and investors throughout.
Ryan is committed to building on PAC Partners' strong foundations, deep market relationships and established capability across corporate finance, stockbroking and research, and to delivering those capabilities with greater focus and consistency for clients across the market. A Harvard Business School alumnus, Ryan has held leadership roles on a number of financial services industry bodies. He and his father, Bill Bessemer, are shareholders in PAC Partners.
